Foster Homes needed: If we can find foster care for these dogs, we can ready them for new homes or adoption. Alot of groups and individuals are scared off by the fact that these dogs have lived outside for so long. It is tough for them to believe how wonderful these babies have transitioned into their new lives. If we can place them in foster care and make them even better, we can find them homes quicker. Donations needed: Laverne had a grand Mal seizure no Friday which resulted in a $200 vet bill to do blood work, etc. As of now she is fine but that was money that was set to go to other dogs to ready them for new homes. You can donate to Carol, Laverne's care or Gloria (see below) by going to http://forgottenpaws.com/donationspage.htm. The donation button is on the left hand side. Email Volunteers needed: I need volunteers who can email rescues in various states to see if they can take one dog from Carol's. We will have to be organized though so we aren't all doing the same states. We really need to put forth a grand effort to get these last 25 dogs out of there. Please email forgottenpaws@yahoo.com if you want to help.
DONATIONS NEEDED: for a REWARD on Gloria. We are posting a $500 reward to anyone who can find her. We have a man in Florida, willing to match any donations we can get up to $500 and he is going to go out this weekend and track her with his bloodhound IF we can find something with her scent on it. You can donate to Carol, Laverne's care or Gloria (see below) by going to http://forgottenpaws.com/donationspage.htm. The donation button is on the left hand side. Gloria was lost in Brooksville, Fl on 10/24. She has been sited a few times and we have been thrown far off course by mistaken identities. On Nov 16th, Gloria was cited by a newspaper delivery person only 2 streets over from where she was originally lost. Cedar Drive and Highpoint Road are her last sitings. This means (hopefully) that she is in the area!
TO ALL SEARCH VOLUNTEERS: If you are searching for Gloria and you come across her, your body posture is very important. You will need to get down on your knees and talk to her softly calling her "sweetie" in a baby like voice. You may have to crawl slowing towards her to get to her. DO NOT WALK or she will just run. She may crawl to you but I doubt it. Do not raise you hands to move suddenly. If others are nearby, have them hide so she doesn't get scared by them. Thank you to all the individuals and groups who have taken on dogs either as fosters or new members of their families. Thank you to all of the people who have assisted in transporting these babies to their new homes and rescues as well.Thank you to everyone who still reads this blog and is still trying to help out by forwarding out the listing.
(Gloria)
Thank you!

Oh, no, poor Gloria. We hope she is found soon and is okay.
And Laverne. That must have been scary when she had a seizure.
We're glad to see the number going down, even if slowly.
Good news about Pam!
