Carrol is a fighter

Carrol sits where her family home once stood - before the arson.

My friend Bill and I ventured out to visit Carrol Crocker today. Despite the cold weather, the concrete block she lives in, the flooding of her living area when it rains & the 20 dogs that remain needing homes - she manages to smile, laugh and fight for her dogs. The courts have decided that February 6th is her final day for her dogs to be removed or yes, they will be taken & destroyed. Many rescues, adopters & fosters have opened up their homes for over 80 of her dogs in just a little over 2 months. That's amazing. With the holidays, the struggling economy & so many thousands of other dogs facing death row - will these dogs make it? The 8 week count down begins.

If you are looking to adopt, foster or rescue please see some of these beautiful faces I photographed. Everyone knew which dogs would be last, but these dogs are not just plain and ordinary, I promise you all these guys are a delight, well socialized, loving and in need to be someones best friend. They are also kid approved - my 10 year old step son gives 2 thumbs up to Carrol's dogs - having met each on a prior trip, there is not a dog he would not want to bring back.

Carrol & Beauregard - a gentle giant

Georgie is a silly delight, he just wants to play and be all up in my camera!

Fernando - looks like a creature strolling thru the jungle - he is strikingly BEAUTIFUL, gentle & a good boy! His siblings have all been rescued!

Susie & Hezikiah both very playful and love bugs.

The dogs give back what Carrol has given to all of them - LOVE

Donations

If you are looking to donate you can mail a check directly to Carrol or even gift cards where she can get dog food at a Walmart close to her home. It would be very appreciated!

So nice to see these new photos. Thanks.

I will be praying all the dogs are rescued in time! It's good they finally gave her a date so she can concentrate on them instead of wondering when the city will show up.

Thank you so much for the update on Carrol and her remaining dogs! If I didn't have so much illness with my cats now, I'd be tempted to help her more. Her Delilah is doing wonderfully though and is purely a DELIGHT!
